FAQ
We’ve got you covered with answers to the most common things people ask before booking.
Highland Ranch is a modern glamping hotel and nature retreat located in Montana’s Flathead Valley—just 5 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport and 25 minutes from Glacier National Park. Our mission is to reconnect people with nature without sacrificing comfort or design. From luxury mirrored ÖÖD cabins to solar-powered off-grid tents near the river, we offer accommodations for those seeking adventure, solitude, or a bit of both. Whether you’re booking a romantic escape, an outdoor wedding, or a weekend to unplug, you’ll find thoughtful details throughout—from heating blankets and private decks to hammocks by the river and a communal lounge with filtered water and fast Wi-Fi.
What should I expect during my stay?
Expect nature, reimagined. At Highland Ranch, your stay blends the raw beauty of Montana with the comforts of thoughtful design. Whether you’re tucked into one of our mirrored ÖÖD cabins or off-grid glamping tents, you’ll wake up to open skies, mountain air, and a sense of stillness that’s hard to find anywhere else. Here’s what you can look forward to:⟩ Self check-in for a hands-off arrival (we’ll send details before your trip)⟩ Private fire pits, decks, and cozy bedding—whether you’re off-grid or on-grid⟩ Filtered water, a shared lounge, and basic kitchen gear (with coffee + tea, of course)⟩ Strong cell service (but no Wi-Fi in tents—by design)⟩ Board games, books, hammocks, and river access for slow afternoons⟩ And a short drive to Glacier National Park, Whitefish, and Flathead Lake
This isn’t camping. And it’s not your average hotel. It’s a basecamp for adventure—or a place to do absolutely nothing.
How does the self-check-in process work?
We offer a seamless, hands-off self-check-in process. On-grid mirrored cabins will be unlocked with keys placed inside, while our off-grid tents do not require keys. Guests will receive detailed check-in instructions via email before arrival, ensuring a smooth and effortless start to their stay.
Can I request a specific tent close to the river?
