 At Highland Ranch there's only one thing we love more than a good home-cooked meal: that's sitting around with friends enjoying it. So join in the conversation by the fire in the living room or out on the deck overlooking the orchards and then for meals in our cozy family-style dining room.
We're proud to serve wines from the Anderson Valley's world-class vineyards, along with an array of French and other vintages at lunch and dinner. And because we enjoy a good brew, we also stock the great beers produced in our local micro-breweries.
With all the local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen right here in Mendocino County, it is our pleasure to prepare delicious meals with their freshest of ingredients.
 Whether you've been horseback riding, hiking, playing tennis, doing yoga or just lying in a hammock breathing in the country air, you come to meals at Highland Ranch hungry! Our daily menus are planned around the freshest local ingredients to provide you with the most satisfying fare. We're delighted to accommodate your special dietary requirements. At lunch we always have a homemade soup, bread and a fresh salad to complement the entrees. Homemade cookies, like chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, snickerdoodles, ginger snaps and fresh fruit complete the meal.

Sample Dinners: All dinners include fresh bread or homemade rolls and a tossed salad - Prime Rib au jus with Savory Bread Pudding and braised greens

 It's a pleasure to take a quiet walk at Highland Ranch and stop to pluck a snack - an apple, or a few plums - from one of our fruit trees. In season, we like to serve sweets and desserts made from our own harvest. - Ranch Plums Cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream

 As frequently as you will find a bottle of French or Italian wine on our lunch or dinner table, you will find a bottle of one of our local Anderson Valley wines. Roederer Estate, Husch, Navarro, Lazy Creek, Demuth, Londer, Handley, Maple Creek. All these wineries and more are within easy distance of Highland Ranch for an afternoon's wine-tasting experience.
