At Highland Ranch, we treat our horses like family. Our horses are well cared for, well-trained and sure-footed. We also have separate and secure accommodations for guest horses so you are welcome to bring your own horse if you like.
Benji: dun mustang, very sweet, great for children and adults, very gentle and compliant, with smooth gaits.
Buck: buckskin Quarter Horse gelding. This former Western Pleasure horse is an HR veteran who is great with children.
Casey: red dun mustang, very personable, sure-footed, a perfect trail horse.
Chelly: Grey arab gelding, perfect for lighter riders, he’s a former endurance horse that loves to go out on the trail.
Doc:
tricolor overo paint gelding, very solid with smooth gaits and a great disposition.
Enrique:
red dun welsh pony cross, gentle and kind, a great horse for smaller riders.
Lewis: Chestnut warmblood with dressage training, very sure footed, with smooth gaits.
Milo: Belgian draft gelding, very gentle with smooth gaits, a joy to ride and capable of carrying large riders.
Pancho:
Sorrel Quarter Horse, a true ranch horse, experienced with roping and working cattle.
Porter: Black Quarter horse gelding, responsive and willing, a pleasure to ride.
Rupert: chestnut tobiano paint with excellent gaits and extensive training, athletic, responsive, and gentle.
Toby: chestnut arab, athletic, responsive and personable, good for smaller riders.
Tucker: bay mustang, very strong, a perfect trail horse, surefooted, athletic, reliable.
Tuff: dark Quarter Horse gelding, a great ride for any rider, but someone with prior riding experience will appreciate Tuff's balanced gaits and soft feel.
